A Halal-Friendly Chef's Table in Bangkok at ฿890 — Your First Fine Dining, Done Right

Something Space is a halal-friendly chef's table in Bangkok built around khao man gai. One flat price: ฿890 per seat, no hidden fees, no service charge.

What 'halal-friendly' means here, honestly: There is no pork and no alcohol on our menu or in our kitchen. Every course is built around chicken and plant ingredients. We're not formally certified by CICOT — so we don't call ourselves 'Halal-certified.' We call ourselves 'Halal-friendly,' because that's accurate. Muslim guests are warmly welcome, and the chef will walk you through every ingredient at the table if you'd like.

Why ฿890 makes this 'accessible' fine dining: Most chef's tables in Bangkok run ฿3,000–8,000 per seat. Something Space is deliberately a flat ฿890 — because we want people who've never done fine dining before to be able to try one without betting a week's salary on it. No menu math. No dress code. No service charge tacked on at the end.

What a first fine dining experience should feel like: We think your first one should be easy to read. Eight seats face an open kitchen. The chef explains each course in plain language. If a bite doesn't land for you, tell us at the table — we'll re-cook it on the spot. Nothing mysterious, nothing intimidating.

The menu: A science-built khao man gai is the anchor. Other courses orbit around it — chicken broth finished with caviar, cucumber-ribbon noodles with sous-vide chicken, a khao man gai kimbap, and a small bowl of house ice cream to close. Drinks: Thai tea balanced without sugar, lemongrass tea, Jeju matcha. No alcohol, anywhere on the program.

Quick facts: ฿890 per person · Halal-friendly (no pork, no alcohol) · 8 seats · Reservation only · Open Tuesday–Sunday · Closed Wednesday · Lunch 12:00–14:00 · Dinner 17:00–19:30 · 25% deposit via PromptPay (Thai QR) before dinner

How to book: Reserve at somethingspaceinthai.com or message us on LINE (ID: somethingspaceinthai). The exact address is shared once your reservation is confirmed — we keep walk-in load low so the chef can focus on the eight seats in front of him.
